I traveled with my wife and our two daughters. It was a very pleasant experience taking a one-day trip package from East Cruise. The speedboat was great and clean, and the crew was extremely helpful and friendly. Special appreciation to Mr. Robert and his friend with dreadlocks (unfortunately, I forgot to ask his name).

The crew was very helpful and provided us with clear information.

Our first destination was Padar Island, but we could only make it to the second post.

Next, we went to Pink Beach, where we had the chance to swim and enjoy the beauty of the pink sand beach with crystal-clear water. The crew was very helpful, assigning us a small stall as a basecamp for our belongings, and one of the crew members even helped us take pictures.

Our next destination was Komodo Island. Unfortunately, this part was a bit disappointing, but the fault lies with the local rangers. They took us deep into the forest, supposedly to spot a big Komodo dragon, but we found none. It turns out the large Komodo was near the starting point, and they likely led us into the forest intentionally, with the final destination being the beach next to the starting point. It would’ve been better if they had taken us there right away instead of making us trek through the forest unnecessarily.

Next, we went to Taka Makassar, a white sandbank in the middle of the sea with crystal-clear water. It was a lot of fun playing there.

After that, we went snorkeling at Manta Point and Turtle Bay. Once again, Mr. Robert and his crew were very helpful. Mr. Robert even did a free dive to chase manta rays, turtles, and sharks just to record videos for us. It was awesome, truly the best!

The other crew members were also very attentive in assisting the guests with snorkeling, so for those who couldn’t swim, there was no need to worry because they made sure we were all well taken care of.

At the end of the trip, there was a minor accident where my wife hurt her foot on the stairs and started bleeding. Once again, the crew quickly administered first aid properly, and when we arrived at the dock, we were taken directly to the hospital for further treatment.

As for the price, East Cruise is a bit expensive, but it is well worth it for the service and facilities provided.

For improvement, perhaps East Cruise could enhance the service of their ground crew. They still need some training—when asked which group we belonged to, one of them answered, ‘I don’t know.’ There was also a ticket payment that had to be made in cash, which was a bit inconvenient. It would be better if there were other payment options like debit, QRIS, or bank transfer to make things easier.

Overall, it was an amazing trip, and I will definitely return.
